Here are some of my pictures.  Many of the pictures before 2000 were taken with a Ricoh digital camera.  This was one of the first digital cameras and the resolution looks pretty poor now in comparison to what we get now.  In 2001, I got a Canon PowerShot S10 for my sabbatical photos.  I also had a cheap Intel camera that took even worse shots than the Ricoh.  In 2003, I upgraded my camera yet again to a Canon PowerShot S400 after nearly beating to death my other Canon in New Zealand.  In 2006 I got a Canon SD700.   Obviously I'm very happy with Canon and the beating those cameras can withstand.  Now that the resolutions of these cameras are so large (each picture is almost a Megabyte in size), I'm posting the pictures to a hosting service such as Ofoto, Imagestation, Shutterfly, etc and linking from my pages.  The new thing now is to post them to my facebook account and link to that from my web page.  The benefits are that you can order the pictures you see, and they are downsized to load faster on your computer to see.  Plus they have much better interfaces for viewing the pictures and adding comments.  If you want any of the originals, just send me an e-mail.  They're big, so not practical to host on my website anymore.  A note about Ricoh
