Volunteering
I think this is important for everyone to try and do. You won't regret it. Here's some volunteering opportunities to take advantage of:

Intel-SOLV Washington County Clean and Green (9/18/99)
Portland Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA) - http://www.pcpa.com/ (To volunteer here, call Margie at 274-6552 and tell her Andrew sent you. Positions include: Gift Shop, usher, tour guide, and greeters). I've been volunteering in the Gift shop for 5-6 years.
